After Your Treatment

Now that you know what not to do, it’s time to share my secret recipe for amazing results!
It's all in the aftercare. Trust the process!

CLEANING SCHEDULE:

Hands must always be clean. Avoid use of abrasive washcloths or sponges. Please be gentle with skin.

Immediately after the procedure, gently wipe brows without stretching or tugging with provided wipe every 10 minutes for 1 hour (6 times in 1 hour). This is to prevent lymph buildup on the freshly worked area. Pat dry with a paper towel or cotton pad after each wipe. Do not leave brows wet.

Cleaning will then need to be done every 3 hours for the following week with a warm damp cotton pad. Remember to gently and completely pat dry after each cleaning before applying a VERY THIN layer of after-care ointment given. The ointment pot is small, but it will be plenty for 10 days.

  • DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally fall off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss!

  • Avoid getting the treated area wet for 10 days.

  • Avoid sweating for a full 10 days. Any activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows will expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results.

  • Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers for 2 weeks.

  • Completely avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure. Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to fade/change the color while it is healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation.

  • After 10 days consider using sunblock when going outdoors to keep the color from fading and sun/UV exposure.

  • Avoid sleeping on your sides/brows for the first week and use a fresh pillow case.

  • Keep your bangs and hair away from the treated area for the first week.

  • NO makeup or skincare products to be used on the treated area for 10 days.

  • NO harsh facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

  • NO Botox for 4 weeks.

  • Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion around the brow area once healed to keep the color from fading.

!!!Please note!!!

Everyone heals and retains the pigment differently. We provide the same service for every client but retention varies on your skin and lifestyle

  • There are no guarantees as to how your body/skin will heal to retain the pigment. If they fade, blur or don’t take well, it is the result of your skin and/or lifestyle...Everyone is different.

  • Permanent makeup is a 2 step process.

  • This is why a 4-6 weeks touch up is required! This is the perfect time immediately after the skin heals to perfect, fine tune, darken or go over any faded areas.

  • Permanent Makeup is an art, NOT a science. Results will vary.

  • You are not a good candidate for microblading if you have large pores (large pores on your forehead & in the brow area) or extremely oily skin. Your results may appear softer or blurred looking. It is best to opt for powder brows with this skin type.

  • If you are out in the sun a lot, have oily skin, use anti-aging creams, retinA/retinol products, regular chemical peels or exercise frequently, your permanent makeup may fade prematurely. The better you take care of the treated area and follow the provided aftercare, the longer it will last.

  • No face is 100% symmetrical, please have realistic expectations. We do measure and use a digital tool to measure the whole face to help achieve symmetry, but understand that there are natural factors that may affect this.

  • No eyebrows are completely identical, even if we were to use a ruler. Brows look different due to our bone structure and muscle movement.

  • One side of our face is always more dominant therefore will always move more or raise a little higher than the other when we open our eyes, talk, react. Even gravity can affect this.

  • Just like having a dominant hand or foot, one brow is stronger and more active than the other!

  • “Sisters, not twins” is used universally in this field.
