Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure that enhances the appearance of your eyebrows by creating natural-looking hair-like strokes. Using a handheld tool with fine, sterile blades, pigment gets carefully deposited into the upper layers of the skin, mimicking the look of real eyebrow hairs. This technique is ideal for people with thin, sparse, or uneven brows and provides a fuller, more defined look.
Unlike traditional tattoos, microblading is less invasive and fades over time, typically lasting 12 to 18 months before needing a touch-up to freshen up the color. It offers a subtle, natural effect that’s customized to suit your face shape and desired look.
Microblading is one of the several brow services we offer, including Nano Strokes and Powder Brows, which provide different styles and techniques based on your preferences.
-
Both techniques produce hair like strokes.
The main difference between Microblading and Nano Strokes lies in the pigment implantation technique and their suitability for different skin types.
Microblading uses a handheld tool with fine blades to create natural-looking hair strokes, making it ideal for those with normal to dry skin who want a subtle, soft enhancement. However, the strokes can blur faster on oily skin.
Nano strokes, on the other hand, are performed with a digital machine, creating even finer, more precise strokes and work well on all skin types, including oily skin. Nano strokes tend to stay crisper making them a great choice for those with oily or sensitive skin wanting highly detailed results.
-
When choosing between Microblading, Nano Strokes, and Powder Brows, it’s important to understand how each technique works and which one best fits your brow goals, skin type, and personal style.
Microblading is best for people with normal to dry skin who want to fill in sparse areas or create a more defined brow while maintaining a very natural look. Microblading is great if you have decent brow shape but want to enhance it.
Nano Strokes is great for all skin types, including oily or sensitive skin. Nano strokes are a great option for anyone looking for hyper-realistic hair strokes, especially if you want a long-lasting result with minimal trauma to the skin.
Powder Brows is best for people who prefer a more defined, polished look or those who are used to filling in their brows with makeup. A soft, powdery finish with a subtle gradient that mimics the look of filled-in brows. It’s great for achieving a more dramatic, makeup-ready look that still appears soft and natural. Powder Brows work well for all skin types, especially oily or combination skin, as the shading technique holds pigment better over time.

Everyone’s pain sensitivity is different but some people report mild discomfort during the very beginning parts of the procedure. A majority of client say it is tolerable and topical numbing is applied for most of your treatment.
-
Absolutely. Your safety and health is our priority. All supplies are sterile and disposable ensuring that they are only used once on each individual client, then thrown away.
-
This procedure is meant to give long lasting results. Most clients will find that after the initial touch up, their brows keep their fully healed look for 1-2 years and as long as they are maintained. Other factors can affect fading such as time in the sun, sweat, water and daily skin routines.
-
There is no downtime required for permanent makeup. You might have a bit of redness around the brows on the first day. They will look darker and thicker the first few days, skin will then peel or flake a little bit causing patchiness. Once all flakes or dry skin fall off, brows will look very light due to the skin still being opaque. The true color will be revealed around the 3rd to 4th week of healing.
-
Yes! Permanent makeup is a 2 step process. As all skin heals differently, and results will vary.
It is normal to experience a bit of pigment loss so a 4-6 weeks touch up is required as it is the perfect time immediately after the skin heals for us to perfect, fine tune, darken or go over any faded areas. Any desired changes can also be done during this session to ensure client satisfaction.
-
In order to keep your eyebrow tattoo results looking fresh, vibrant and rich in color we recommend a Color Boost every year or two. This is only a guideline. If your results faded faster you can chose to come back as soon 6 months. If your results are still visible and to your liking, you can even wait as long as 2 years. We leave it up to you whenever you are ready to get your brows freshened up. However, if brows are too faded and almost unnoticeable, a new procedure might be required.
You can always contact us so we can better advise you.
-
Because pigment is implanted in the facial area where there is more fluid circulation than any other parts of the body. Your face sees the most wear and tear — exposure to sun, facial products, sweat, dust, pollution —the list goes on and on. Many factors causes pigment to fade as your skin cells regenerate over time. This is why you need a touch up or color boost.
-
Healing time varies from individual to individual. Usually, it takes about a week to 7-14 days for the epithelial tissue to form. Your skin will be considered healed after that happens. The pigment then takes some time to settle into the skin. A good month should pass before we consider the process complete and ready for the first touch up (4-6 weeks).
-
We first start by cleaning and sanitizing the treatment area. Photos will be taken before the shaping process starts.
Brows will be measured and the brow outline will be drawn in pencil. Please note that no face is 100% symmetrical and expectations need to be realistic. Brows are shaped according to bone structure and facial features, uniquely for you.
Once we have agreed on a final shape, pictures are taken then we can start the process!
Ultimately, it is your decision but as a professional artist, I will always voice my opinion and suggests what I think suits you best aesthetically.
-
The pigment is matched to your natural brow hairs so your brows can blend with the tattoo.
Unless you tint/dye your brows a certain color permanently, then I will match it to that color.
Clients who are used to having very thin to no brows for a long time, can find this change challenging. Clients who have this issue can try penciling in their brows prior so it won’t feel like such a dramatic change!
-
Nope! Every attempt is made to retain as much natural hair as possible and integrate it into the design of the permanent eyebrows. In some cases, a few stray hairs here and there may need to be shaved off to create a clean and aesthetically pleasing result. No plucking or tweezing is used so brows will still grow back just as usual.

Lip blushing is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattoo that enhances the natural color and shape of your lips, giving them a fuller and more defined appearance. It involves depositing pigment into the lips to create a soft, natural-looking tint.
-
The main difference between traditional Lip Blushing and Lip color Neutralizing lies in their purpose and the techniques used to achieve the desired outcome.
Lip Color Neutralizing is aimed at individuals with naturally dark, cool-toned, or hyperpigmented lips who want to achieve a more balanced, even lip color. This technique is often used to neutralize the appearance of blue, purple, or brown tones in the lips, creating a more neutral or pinkish undertone before further color can be added.
In summary, Lip Blushing enhances and defines, while Lip Color Neutralizing corrects and balances uneven or dark tones before applying the desired color.
-
Most clients report minimal discomfort during the procedure, as a numbing cream is applied beforehand to reduce sensitivity. You may feel a slight stinging or tingling sensation, but the process is generally well-tolerated. Secondary numbing is continuously applied throughout the procedure to ensure comfortability.
-
Lip blushing typically lasts between 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Over time, the pigment fades naturally, and touch-ups are recommended to maintain the desired color.
-
After the procedure, your lips may appear swollen and more intense in color. Within the first 24 hours, the swelling will subside, and over the next few days the color will lighten by about 30-50%. Expect some flaking or peeling, and full healing typically takes around 7-14 days.
-
Yes, when performed by a trained and certified technician, lip blushing is safe. We only use sterile disposable tools and sterile high-quality pigments. Be sure to follow all aftercare instructions to avoid infections and ensure proper healing.
-
Yes, you can wear lipstick or gloss or any other lip product you like after the lips have fully healed. Lip blushing provides a natural tint, so you may find you need less makeup, but you can still apply products to enhance or change your lip color for different looks.
I personally love that a clear gloss is sufficient to give you the perfect lips after getting Lip Blushing!
-
The entire procedure typically takes 3-3.5 hours, which includes consultation, numbing, shaping, custom color mix and the actual application of pigment.
-
Lip blushing is ideal for anyone looking to enhance the natural shape and color of their lips, especially those with pale or uneven pigmentation. It is also great for people who want fuller-looking lips without the need for fillers.
-
Before the procedure, avoid caffeine, alcohol, and blood-thinning medications. After the procedure, avoid spicy foods, excessive sweating, and sun exposure during the healing process.
Detailed aftercare instructions will be provided. You can also read more on our lip aftercare page.
