In order for your lips to heal properly and look their best, please refer to this guide for cleaning and care. Once you’ve healed, it’s crucial to schedule a touch-up session to refine the results and prolong effects.

To ensure optimal healing, you'll receive a comprehensive aftercare kit at your appointment. This kit contains everything necessary to follow the provided care instructions. Gentle cleansing with clean hands is essential. Avoid harsh exfoliants or abrasive materials on the treated area.

Aftercare Guide

Cleaning Schedule

Using clean hands and immediately after you get home, gently cleanse the treated area every 10 minutes for the first hour using the provided wipe. Avoid stretching or tugging the skin. Pat dry with a clean tissue. This is crucial to prevent lymphatic fluid buildup. Repeat this cleaning process every 3 hours for the next week, followed by a thin application of the provided aftercare ointment. Avoid excessive moisture and always pat dry thoroughly.

Tips for Smooth and Effective Healing

  • Do not rub, pick or scratch the treated area. Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally fall off. Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss!

  • Avoid getting the treated area wet for 10 days.

  • Avoid sweating for a full 10 days. Any activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows will expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results.

  • Avoid pool, sauna, steam rooms, hot showers for 2 weeks.

  • Completely avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after your procedure. Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to fade/change the color while it is healing and can also cause hyper pigmentation.

  • After 10 days consider using sunblock when going outdoors to keep the color from fading and sun/UV exposure.

  • Avoid sleeping on your sides/brows for the first week and use a fresh pillow case.

  • Keep your bangs and hair away from the treated area for the first week.

  • NO makeup or skincare products to be used on the treated area for 10 days.

  • NO harsh facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks.

  • NO Botox for 4 weeks.

  • Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microdermabrasion around the brow area once healed to keep the color from fading.

The Healing Journey

  • Day 1

    Immediately after the procedure and over oue next few days, your brows will start to darken.

  • Day 2

    You’re brows are in the hea!ing stages, remember to be kind to yourself. Allow your body some time to heal. You’re doing great.

    Be sure to utilize the healing kit consistently for best results. If you have questions or need support on your healing progress, text me.

  • Day 3

    Your brows should be fully healed from your first session and you’re look amazing! If you haven’t already, book your initial touch up. Please make sure it’s within 4-6 weeks of your first appointment with me.

    Additional touch ups are recommended every 1-2 years in order to maintain the look.

  • Days 4-7

    Your appointment is set. Mark your calendar and count the days until your visit. I can’t wait to meet with you!

    If you need to, please reschedule 7 days before your visit date to prevent losing your deposit.

  • Days 8-12

    The day’s almost here! No Caffeine or alcohol intake 24 hours before your session. Review my suggested pre-visit checklist for the best experience.

    If this is your first visit, expect to be here for 2-3 hours.

  • Days 13-18

    It’s your appointment day! Drive safely and please send me a text if you’re running late.

    We’ll go over your service and any of your concerns, making sure you feel safe, confident and satisfied with the game plan.

    I’ll walk you through every step and you’ll be numbed with a topical anestheticd during the procedure. When we’re finished with the transformation, I’ll send you home with a healing kit.

Schedule Your Touch Up

You did it! Your brows have fully healed and you look amazing. While healed results may vary in individuals, these can be addressed during the touch-up appointment. This follow-up session is important for refining the shape and fading. Please book your touch up within the time 4-6 week time frame.
